- Launch of ActivoBank7, a multichannel personal investment bank, based on the Internet, in partnership with Banco Sabadell;
- Launch of "Managerland", a transactional internet portal developed jointly with "Banco Sabadell" to offer their Corporate and small business clients a full range of banking services;
- Cessation, by mutual agreement, of the partnership with Banco Popular Espanhol, of the operation in France;
- Launch of "Banque BCP" in France;
- BCP's shares are included in the FTSE Euro 100 Index;
- Euromoney magazine awards "BCP Investimento" to "Best Equity House" and "Best Debt House" prizes;
- "Cidadebcp" launches a new service, allowing banking transactions to be undertaken through written messages - SMS - by mobile phone.
